Since there is no default home option, it is then impossible to send the companion to the special default home.įor example, if I dismiss Piper after first getting her as a companion and don't choose any options for where she should go, she will return to Publick Occurrences. However, if you have given a destination settlement previously, the companion will return to the most recent destination. Some companions, like Piper and Valentine, do not have default homes inside player settlements (Piper lives in Publick Occurrences, and Valentine lives in his agency.) I know that when dismissing a companion and exitting the destination settlement menu without selecting a destination, the companion will return to his/her default home. This is a glitch concerning companion A.I.
